  1. The American Dream

It’s ridiculous how some of the most brilliant people face such opposition by either stupidity or unjust ways. Isn’t America praised to be the land of freedom and opportunity? My rendition of this “dream” is similar those infomercials where the product is sooo hyped up, everyone’s willing to pay those “3 easy payments of $19.95,” but when you actually get the product, it’s completely flawed. It either doesn’t work properly, breaks easily or requires you to buy more things for it to work. But, of course, NOTHING is as it may seem. I just really hate how this delusive idea of this “American Dream” is being instilled in foreign countries and their societies. Sure there may be more opportunities here, but to actually get a chance to play hand, the rules are fucking ridiculous. I am very thankful to be where I am today, but it kills me to see how there are so many people who are much smarter and probably more deserving than I am, not be able to do certain things that many Americans here take for granted. It’s such a flawed system and it’s disgusting to see the people who can help make a difference be the barriers.

Jan Brewer, of all things to do?
